Who operates this application
Skynet Mail Reader is a private application operated by John Alvarado for John’s own use. It is limited to exactly four Google mail principals under John’s control. Privacy questions may be sent to john@alvarado.ai.
Google data the application accesses
The application requests only the Gmail read-only OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. Through this scope, it may access Gmail messages, message metadata, labels, and mailbox settings needed for read-only mail ingestion. It also calls the Gmail profile endpoint to verify the authorized account’s email address.
How Google data is used
Google user data is used to provide John with private mail retrieval, search, context, continuity, and personal or business assistant tasks that John requests. Before any OAuth token state is written, the Gmail profile email address is verified against the specific account assigned to that authorization.
Storage and protection
OAuth tokens and retained mail are stored destination-locally in John’s private H3 environment. The application is designed to keep authorization credentials out of public code, public logs, and browser-delivered content. Selected mail content may be processed by service providers when needed to complete an assistant task John requests.
Service providers, sale, and advertising
The application does not sell Google user data and does not use it for advertising. Service providers, including model providers used by John’s Skynet assistant, may process selected content only as needed to complete personal or business assistance that John requests. They do not receive permission through this application to use John’s Gmail data for their own advertising.
Retention and deletion
OAuth tokens are retained only while John wants the account connected. Retrieved mail may be retained in John’s private destination-local systems for continuity and search. Because John is both the application operator and the only intended user, he controls retention and may request deletion by emailing john@alvarado.ai.
Your choices and revocation
Access can be revoked at any time through the third-party connections page in the relevant Google Account. Revocation prevents future access using that authorization. A deletion request can be made separately at john@alvarado.ai.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Skynet Mail Reader’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
